Heidi Montag Reveals She Almost Suffered a Panic Attack After Leaving Baby Gunner

Any new mom can tell you all the emotions that come into play once you welcome a child into the world. There's happiness, joy, and utter fear of the unknown. Heidi (Montag) Pratt is sharing the anxiety she felt leaving her 3-week-old son for the first time, and it's so freaking relatable in so many ways.


The usually cheerful Hills alum recently took to Instagram Stories, where she shared a video of herself away from her beloved son with hubby Spencer Pratt and how worried it made her feel.

"I'm trying not to cry," the 31-year-old new mom mentioned in her video while trying to hold it together. "Don't have a panic attack."

Heidi's near panic attack is sadly nothing out of the norm for moms, as maternal separation anxiety can be quite real, along with the feeling of guilt, shame, and sadness.

Given Heidi's camp -- which includes her husband Spencer, son Gunner's godmothers, and her family -- one would have to assume her little boy is likely in good hands during her absence.
