You'd pretty much have to be a fly on the wall to get the tea on Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes's relationship. Even then, you would likely come up short, given that these two are very private when it comes to their romance and their family. While we respect their desire to remain out of the limelight, we can't help but celebrate this tea spillage, as Eva Mendes recently opened up about raising her and Ryan's kids -- which is about as rare as a total solar eclipse.

And if this once-in-a-lifetime-seeming Eva-sighting wasn't a treat enough, this mom blessed us once more by revealing how she's raising her girls with longtime love Ry (the couple have been linked together since 2011) to embrace her Cuban roots.

"Esmeralda mostly speaks Spanglish right now. It's really cute," Mendes told People Chica. She continued:

"She's definitely bilingual, and it's really important for us to make sure that she's not only just familiar with the language, but also with the culture. My mom, who lives 15 minutes away, makes it is easy because she speaks to the girls in Spanish and cooks them Cuban food. And we're always listening to Cuban music. It really is a big part of our way of life. I wouldn't have it any other way. My dad, who has been here for 45 years and still doesn't speak English, is a real asset. It's so cool because now that I'm trying to make sure that my girls speak Spanish, it's like, 'Okay, Dad, take them,' because I know that all they're going to speak with him is Spanish."

Okay, Mama, we see you!

Though there aren't any deets about things with Ryan (hey, beggars can't be choosers), it's exciting to hear Eva and her beau are raising their children to embrace different cultures and learn different languages.
