In a matter of mere weeks, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to welcome their first child, a baby boy. The former Hills stars couldn't be more excited to be first-time parents, but it sounds like they're also being pretty realistic about the fact that having a LO isn't always cupcakes and rainbows. Heidi and Spencer recently chatted exclusively with In Touch and shared what they plan to do when their son inevitably breaks rules and acts out.

"We're going to be strict," Heidi said. "I will have a zero-tolerance rule: no tantrums, no screaming in restaurants."

Spencer chimed in: "I'll make rules, but I will also explain them, so my child understands why each one is in place."

Apparently, the couple -- who were once considered hate-watchable to tons of reality TV fans for their bad behavior -- has given a lot of thought to being rather conservative as they expand their family.

"Heidi will be the disciplinarian," Spencer explained. "She'll only let them listen to Christian music, never my trap music! And she hates swearing, so that won't be allowed." He went on to joke, "I'll probably [put a tracking] chip [in] my kid! And I'm getting one of those leashes, not just for Disneyland though -- I won't ever take it off."

Who knows how much of this is the typical tongue-in-cheek exaggeration we tend to expect from Spencer, and how much of it is actually how the two plan to raise their kiddo? But surely, they've considered how their public image might factor into this next chapter in their lives. They're gonna have to acknowledge that they may have acted less than angelic at times -- and figure out how to spin that in a way that goes hand-in-hand with the values they want to instill in their son.

Spencer touched on that last month, when he told Us: "I'll be able to teach my son [about] all the things that I shouldn't have done. I don't regret all my bad decisions, because I'm going to use them for good."

Of course, any parent will tell you that everything you think you want to do or will do before parenthood is challenged once you're actually in it ... That said, only time will tell what kind of mom and dad these two truly turn out to be!
