Whether she's talking about postpartum depression or going out after giving birth, Chrissy Teigen has absolutely no time for haters. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't consider what kind of shaming responses she'll get on social media when she posts photos of Luna, her 1-year-old daughter with husband John Legend. Ahead of posting a new pic of Luna in a carseat, Chrissy admitted that she double-checked her daughter's chest plate for 10 minutes.

  • This is the absolutely adorable photo of Luna that Chrissy recently posted.

The model captioned the shot, "Welcome to NYC, baby!"

  • As innocent-seeming as the shot appears to be at first glance, the proud mama actually had to give it quite a bit of thought before posting.

A follower noted that Chrissy is "brave" to have shared it, because "sanctimommies" love to criticize car seat shots. And judging from Chrissy's response, she clearly thought about how she might become the target of tongue-wagging if Luna's car seat chest plate wasn't properly placed.

  • Some followers weighed in to play devil's advocate.

  • This isn't the first time that Chrissy has preemptively shut down critics.

"This diaper is never not blue so don't even start with me," she captioned this photo from back in February.

Luna may be just 1, but Chrissy knows exactly what parenting subjects set off the haters. Good for her for coming out swinging before they can make a peep -- and usually having the perfect response when they predictably do!
