Last month, Kim Zolciak-Biermann's 4-year-old son Kash was bitten by a dog and had to undergo emergency surgery. Now, the reality star took to social media to share an update on Kash with her followers. Thankfully, it sounds like the little boy is on the road to recovery.

In the picture the Don't Be Tardy star shared, you can see her son still has some bruises around his pretty swollen left eye. There's also a scratch mark near his upper lip, and he's bravely rocking a bandage on his nose. Poor kid!

"Kash and our entire family want to thank each and every one of you for all your prayers!" Zolciak-Biermann captioned the photo. "Kash has healed up incredibly and has perfect vision in his left eye. Stitches on his water line, and his eyeball was never touched! God is Good! We are so incredibly thankful and blessed!" Amazing.

It's so heartening to hear that his vision hasn't been affected, and it sounds like his prognosis is extremely positive. On Sunday night, Zolciak-Biermann appeared on Watch What Happens Live and discussed the situation with Andy Cohen: "He's doing awesome, thank you for asking. He's doing great. He actually has perfect vision in both eyes, which is all we care about. The rest we can fix."

Whew. Talk about a mom's worst nightmare. She's likely been on tenterhooks, waiting to hear if and when her little boy would be alright. Sounds like he was in precisely the right hands.

"In no time he will heal up perfectly and you will never know this happened!" Zolciak-Biermann elaborated on Instagram. "So thankful to Dr Joseph Williams (chief of plastic surgery) and Dr Berland (Tomas Eye Group) their quick decisions and impeccable work doesn't go unnoticed. THANK YOU Kash has taught me so much through this experience. When life hands you lemons make Lemonade #IBelieveInAngels #GodIsSoGood.”

So relieved to know Kash will be A-OK.
