Just when you think you've heard moms shamed for just about everything under the sun, here's a new one that'll have you scratching your head. American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson shared a video of her daughter River's first taste of this beloved food, and haters have come out in full force to criticize the songstress.

The mom of 2-year-old River and almost 1-year-old son Remy shared a sweet video of the little girl enjoying Nutella for the first time. Her little dance in her chair after the first bite is beyond precious!

Rather than revel in the cuteness of this little gal's first bite of this creamy confection most of us adore, haters were quick to judge the "Stronger" singer, with one writing, "Nutella is packed with sugars, don't make your kids blow up too." Ouch. Another wrote: "Nutella is hella bad for you."

In case you missed it, the hazelnut spread has come under fire from those who believe that the heating of palm oil, a key ingredient, may cause cancer. But Ferrero, the company that manufactures the tasty treat, has stated time and again that the palm oil in Nutella is processed below 200 degrees Celsius and uses extremely low pressure to minimize contaminants.

If we had to make a criticism here, it would be that Clarkson is crediting Australia (using the hashtag "#australiagoodness") with bringing us the yummy food, when in fact it comes from Italy. Other commenters were quick to point that out as well. This poor mama can't catch a break!

Thankfully, others had her back and attempted to silence her critics by stating things like: "What girl doesn't have a jar of Nutella on hand......for emergencies!!"

Of course, as most moms know, no matter what you post on social media, you're going to get feedback -- and not all of it will be kind.

Fortunately, Clarkson has consistently proven that she doesn't care what other people have to say, so we imagine this instance will be no different. Chances are the "Because of You" singer will continue sharing "sweet" moments like these with her family because that's what makes her happy -- and good for her.
