If you're a busy mom who's a multitasking maven, when you finally get a little downtime, you may feel a bit, well, confused -- guilty, even. Mom-of-two Drew Barrymore shared a photo of herself lounging in a hotel, perplexed by the fact that she really had a few kid-free moments to herself. Her adorable caption is one that'll make all parents feel like she's a mind reader.

The Santa Clarita Diet star, mom to Frankie, 4, and Olive, 2, posted a pic in which she's reading a magazine in the comfort of her hotel bed. You've got to love her expression. You can tell she's feeling like she's about to get caught doing something wildly inappropriate -- like, "Wait, am I allowed to just sit and do nothing? I'm getting away with murder!"

Her caption says it all:

"Do you ever have that moment as a parent, where you have a few minutes to lay in bed and read a magazine at a hotel, and your [sic] like 'how am I not chasing the kids around? How am I stealing a few minutes to myself? When is this going to end? And why do I feel like I am breaking the law?'"

Amen, Drew!

Sure, it's amazing if you have a little quiet time at home if the kids are napping or out for a few hours. But if you're in your own space, you usually feel compelled to start a load laundry, wash some dishes, prep for dinner, or tackle another task on your endless to-do list.

But, when you're in a hotel, you leave all those trappings behind. You're blissfully off duty. Yet as amazing as it is, it can be disorienting, especially when you've got a 2- and a 4-year-old who probably keep you on your toes morning 'til night!

As much as the celeb mom was enjoying her chance to do nothing, she really looks happiest when she's surrounded by her adorable girls.

She shared this photo, taken by her ex Will Kopelman, the following day.

It's great for the children to be able to spend time with both of them and enjoy these sweet family moments.

Barrymore, whose parents divorced when she was 9, has said she's committed to making sure her kids have the best childhood possible. Though she admitted the split from Kopelman (her third divorce) made her feel like a "failure," in a joint statement made at the time of the breakup, she and her ex agreed:

"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on."

It looks like this pair is moving on beautifully! We wonder if it was Kopelman who gave Drew the chance to chill at the Ritz-Carlton. If so, this is truly co-parenting at its finest.
