The "mystery" as to why a certain A-list star was absent from the 89th Academy Awards has finally been revealed. A huge congratulations is in order, as Natalie Portman gave birth to her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied. Nat's rep just confirmed to Us Weekly the couple welcomed their little daughter (yes, it's a girl!) on February 22, and she has the sweetest name around.

The 35-year-old Oscar winner is now the proud mother of both a 5-year-old son named Aleph -- who will likely be one of the best big brothers ever -- and a baby girl named Amalia.

Aww.

Amalia, pronounced ah-MAH-lee-a, comes from the Germanic amal that means "work" or "activity." The Israeli-born actress may have chosen it because it is also a Hebrew name that means "work of God," notes Kveller.com. What a super adorable name choice. We're sure Natalie and Benjamin will be hard at "work" all day and night with all those feedings and diaper changes that's in store for them.

It feels like only yesterday that we found out Nat was expecting her second child, even though many months have passed since the news broke last September. And though Natalie joked in November about not being as pregnant as she looks -- and having months to go -- it looks like time certainly did fly by as Mama only needed a few more before she officially welcomed her sweet bundle of joy into the world.

While the arrival of Natalie's daughter Amalia means no more stylish maternity inspo, we're beyond thrilled for this family, as Natalie's rep tells Us "Mother and baby are happy and healthy" -- which is the only thing that matters.

Congrats again!
