The daughter of Hollywood icon Aaron Spelling had this to say about her new son:

"We are over the moon in love with baby Beau," she told People. "He is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family."

Baby Beau is going home to a full house. His welcoming committee includes siblings Finn, 4, Hattie, 5, Stella, 8, and Liam, 9. And don't forget Dean's son, Jack, 18, from his previous marriage. Look's like the fellas outnumber the ladies in this brood.

Take a look at this sweet photo of Beau's precious hand. The little guy, born March 2, weighed in at 5 lbs, 12 oz:

Spelling captioned the photo: "We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott."

According to Baby Name Wizard, the name Beau is borrowed from the French and is derived from beau, meaning "pretty, a dandy, handsome." His name fits in perfectly with the rest of the McDermott clan, as Baby Name Wizard cites popular sibling names include Finn and Jack.

While some might think that these parents, who've had their share of marital issues and financial turmoil, already had their hands full, Spelling was thrilled to share the news that she was expecting again.

"It was a total surprise," the actress and blogger told People in October. "But we always wanted a big family. I'm really excited."

A new baby is always a blessing, but true to her tell-all nature, the Spelling It Like It Is author got real about going back to the newborn days after finally getting all the kids potty trained.

"Dean was saying, 'We just got Finn out of diapers; I thought we were in the clear!'" Spelling shared with People. "For the first time this year, they're all in school. So it's like, wow. We're basically starting over."

They certainly are! We wish the growing family all the best.
