16 Celebrities the Internet Mom-Shamed for Their Parenting
Being a mother is already a tough road to navigate as is. Between dealing with feelings of uncertainty, nervousness, frustration, and everything else that comes with the territory, the last thing any mom needs is criticism coming at her from all sides. And if you think celebs are immune to this kind of BS, think again.
For some reason, there are people walking around on this earth (who knows, maybe aliens, too) who actually think it's okay to take time out of their obviously idle schedules to throw shade at a mother. Perhaps they don't realize their words actually sting and do nothing to help build Mom up.
Or, maybe they're just a**holes.
Some of our favorite celebrity moms have dealt with mom-shaming for reasons that will make you roll your eyes. It's not fair and it needs to stop -- like, right now.

Chrissy Teigen
Don't you cry for Chrissy Teigen; this mama knows how to hold her own in the mom-shaming department. Ever since the 30-year-old gave birth to her daughter Luna back in April, it seems like folks have had something to say about her -- including why she thought it was okay to go on a date night after giving birth. We forgot, moms can't do that anymore. **Eye roll**

Kelly Clarkson
This tweet commentator Katie Hopkins, aka the "most hated woman in Britain," wrote about singer Kelly Clarkson is disgusting. Aside from obviously having too much time in her day to target mothers, what was the point? Thankfully, Mom didn't let these unthinkable words faze her one bit. In fact, Kelly Clarkson doesn't care about other people's opinions of her, and told *Heat* magazine, "Since having a family -- I don't seek out any other acceptance." Good for you, mama!
Kristin Cavallari
Kristin Cavallari caught fire over this Instagram photo that shows her son's spine -- because obviously, Mom doesn't feed her kid. "Yep, I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life," the former reality star snapped back. Seriously, what's wrong with people?
Charlize Theron
Give. Us. A. Flipping. Break. Just because your child decides it's the perfect time to throw a tantrum -- in front of onlookers, no less -- doesn't automatically make you a "monster mom." It's beyond sad anyone would think Charlize Theron "dragged" her 4-year-old son, when clearly Mom was doing her best to deal with a frustrated child. Those type of accusations are hurtful and can be quite dangerous.

Kim Kardashian
Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, her rise to fame, and all the selfies and "nudies" she takes: While we can all agree to disagree on what someone should and shouldn't post online, one thing that's never okay is to crack jokes about a new mother's weight. And yet, magazines and meanies actually thought it was a good idea to poke fun at Kim Kardashian's postpartum body -- including calling Mom "chunky." Between late-night diaper changes, trying to breastfeed, and dealing with ever-changing hormones, this is the last thing a new mother needs.
Victoria Beckham
If you think kissing your kiddos on the lips is acceptable parenting behavior, beware: sanctimommies will get you. The fact that Victoria Beckham caught heat for kissing her daughter Harper, 4, on the lips only proves that we have a way to go in the mommy-shaming department.
Tess Holliday
"I'm not the first plus size woman in the public eye to have a baby [and] share it with the world, [and] I certainly won't be the last." Right on, Tess! It's quite obvious Internet trolls did not get the memo that motherhood does not require a certain waistline. Yet, Tess Holliday's second pregnancy announcement sparked so much hate that will leave you enraged. This is beyond sickening.

Beyonce
As much as we love us some Beyonce, and all the Lemonade she keeps serving us, let's keep it real. Folks had so much to say about Queen Bey when she became a mother. Tons of people had an issue with her being too sexy onstage, because moms shouldn't do that. As Queen Bey says in her Self-Titled mini art feature, "You can have your child and you can still have fun and still be sexy and still have dreams and still live for yourself." You would think that would be the end of Beyonce's mommy-shaming, but sadly, it wasn't. "Fans" actually hated the way Beyonce kept daughter Blue Ivy's hair, to the point of making a "Comb Her Hair" petition -- just to pressure Mom to make the necessary adjustments.
Megan Fox
"Who's the daddy?" "Why would she willingly get pregnant when she's separated from her husband?" Can our lives truly not go on until we know who is the father of Megan Fox's third child? (The answer is Brian Austin Green.) Aside from her being pretty private about her business, it's not any of ours! And yet, it seems like the entire world had a field day questioning and trying to figure out the matrix of possible baby daddies. Thankfully, Megan has a sense of humor and laid all chatter to rest on Instagram -- but she never should've caught so much shade to begin with.
Hilary Duff
It's no secret that celebrities get their fair share of negative comments -- and that's putting it nicely. Perhaps the shame Hilary Duff admits she feels as a mom should be a reminder to us all about our words and how quick we are to spew them. Speaking with Today, Mom says everything she does "feels judged or picked apart." Case in point: Hilary's "school drop-off outfit." It was supposed to be fun, but it received a ton of hurtful comments. Can we just agree to disagree, instead of questioning a person's ability to parent, because we don't agree with an outfit? (That answer is yes.)

JWoww
Clearly folks who try to come for JWoww did not watch Jersey Shore. If they did, they would've realized you don't want to cross paths with this badass. Now a wife and mother of two, JWoww caught flak for her baby being in a pool. While the average person would assume 2-month-old Greyson was quite safe in daddy's arms, that wasn't good enough for some people. ("Fans" were also in their feels over whether or not Greyson had on sunscreen.) Needless to say, Mom's clapback on Instagram was epic, saying, "My son actually does have sunscreen on. It's the same concept as diaper cream. Probably even better than the crap sh** you lather your children in."
Jill & Jessa Duggar
Oh boy. If you're a Duggar fan then you know how much folks love to attack Jill and Jessa. People were furious with Jessa's "inappropriate" pic of her son Spurgeon, and had no problem wagging their fingers at Jill for "exposing" son Israel to the Zika virus. As much as you expect for celebs to catch heat for being in the limelight, you gotta admit, this is a bit ridiculous.
Coco Austin
Who can forget alll the craziness Coco Austin has endured as a new mother? After Coco gave birth to daughter Chanel Nicole eight months ago, "fans" accused Coco of exploiting her baby, just because she loves sharing pics of her online -- and that's not even the half of it. Critics also told Mom she shouldn't be sexy anymore, and that Coco is a horrible mother for ear-piercing her baby. Talk about mean.

Mila Kunis
"If it’s not for you, don’t look." Mila Kunis might star in a movie called Bad Moms, but the shame she received for breastfeeding her daughter Wyatt in public doesn't make her one ... at all. Speaking with People, Mila said, "In the States and in our culture, we sexualize the breast so much that there’s an aspect of it that people just don’t know how to wrap their head around the idea of showing your breast in public."
Mariah Carey
Honey, go get the number to child services right now, we have a serious problem on our hands! (Please don't.) The world appeared to stop when people noticed Mariah Carey's son still used a pacifier. In fact, many of Carey's fans called her "lazy" and questioned her ability to parent, because of an Instagram photo. Kudos to you if your child was able to kick the binkie habit early. Let's not, however, chastise others who are still going through the struggle, mmkay?
