Have we become such a sensitive world that any and everything a parent does is now criminal? Sadly, the photo of Victoria Beckham kissing her daughter on the lips has received a ton of negative attention that makes you question what the heck is wrong with some people.

The 42-year-old wife and mom of four shared this sweet snap on Instagram in honor of daughter Harper's turning 5. And rather than seeing it for what it is (a loving moment between Mom and child), some people turned it into a twisted image.

Do you see anything wrong with this?

"Why tf are you kissing your daughter in [the] mouth," wrote one commenter.

"... Just to let you know, it's nice, but ur not supposed to kiss ur children on the lips," mentioned another "fan."

"My mom gives me kisses but on my forehead, which I find more valuable, but it's my right to find this disgusting. Have a lovely day," one commenter passive-aggressively stated.

I don't care how many episodes of Law & Order: SVU you watch, chillax!

Victoria is not a stranger. She's Harper's mother. There's no questionable open mouth action going on, the use of tongue, or anything else that would warrant a call to child services.

I guess I'm a criminal just like Victoria because I kiss my 2- and 1-year-old boys on the lips, too. And the reason why it's not a big deal in my house is because we don't make it out to be one.

In a world where children are perishing due to unthinkable events, why does an image of a loving mother spark such disgust in some people's eyes? If you truly think this photo is sexual -- or horrible -- in any way, you have a serious problem.

Will parents eventually need to have a conversation with their child about boundaries and behavior that is and is not acceptable?

But let's not try to pervert this bond between a mother and her child into something it's not.
