Kristen Bell's Daughters Hate 'Frozen' Because That's a Mom's Life

Kristen Bell

No one appreciates their own mom as much as they should and this story really illustrates that perfectly. Actress Kristen Bell, the voice of Frozen's beloved Princess Anna, reveals how her daughter feels about the famous Disney film. You'd imagine she'd love it, right? Um, think again!

The adorable wife of Dax Shepard shared with Jimmy Kimmel how the couple put on the film for their 3-year-old daughter, Lincoln, in an attempt to comfort her during an illness.

Given the enormous popularity of the film, the little girl's reaction was probably not what the celebrity couple was expecting!

Kristen is so funny when she says her kids live to break down her self-esteem. Isn't it so true though? Then when she shares exactly what went down, you can't help but laugh. She explains:

...  Dax had said, 'Should we put on a movie? Should we blow her mind and put on Frozen?’ And we did, and about 15 minutes in she said, ‘Mummy, I think you should turn this off.’ She didn’t like it.

Awww. But we can relate! You could be the best cook in the world and your kids will prefer a frozen dinner. You could be an amazing pianist and your children will try to drown you out with the radio.

The late night talk show host summed it up perfectly when he quipped:

Who could’ve guessed you’d have the only children in America who don’t like Frozen? But I guess it makes sense. No one wants to hear their mother sing, right?

Fortunately, Kristen is super-cool and seems to be able to "let it go" (sorry, couldn't resist!) when it comes to her daughter's lack of interest.

We have a feeling that as Lincoln and her little sis, Delta, get a bit older they'll come to appreciate all their parents' talents. Telling your preschool friends that your mom is Princess Anna probably has some serious pull on the playground!
