The Big Bang Theory actress wrote a book in 2012 called Beyond the Sling, in which she advocated bed-sharing, extended breast feeding, and other attachment parenting strategies. More recently, she released a vegan cookbook.
Alicia Silverstone
As another celeb mom who's doled out holistic parenting advice via a book (The Kind Mama), Alicia Silverstone is a big believer in co-sleeping and pre-chewing her son's food, which she has defended as ancient practice. (Although some people just think it's weird.)
Jessica Alba
As one of the cofounders of The Honest Company, actress and mompreneur Jessica Alba's mission is to make eco-friendly diapers, wipes, and cleaning products the norm in American households. (She also wrote a book, natch, called The Honest Life.)

The actress decided to give birth to her son at home in 2013, after being inspired by Ricki Lake's documentary, The Business of Being Born, which higlighted the negative side of the American health care system and its impact on childbirth.
