Bath time is often a popular routine for most children, as they can play, make soapy Mohawks, and pretend they're in the deep blue sea. One would think it's all in fun and bathing, but apparently not. People are all sorts of upset over Perez Hilton posting this shower selfie with his 2-year-old son. Are you offended?
Taking a bird's eye approach to his snap, Perez takes up most of the photo as he appears to (purposely) cover up his son, Mario Armando Lavandeira III (isn't Perez's government name cute? It's like lavandería, Spanish for a Laundromat-type facility, which is pretty funny considering we're talking about washing ... Never mind.)
Can I be honest? I used to take showers with both of my parents back in the day -- and it wasn't a big deal. Heck, I shower with my 1 1/2-year-old a few times throughout the week because I don't always feel like preparing his tub and toys for some big prime-time event.

I didn't think a parent showering with his or her young child was such a crime, or a huge deal for that matter? Granted, I wouldn't post a selfie of it for the world to see (everyone is different when it comes to privacy and things), but I don't see anything super horrible going on.
At the end of the day, every parent will need to decide what's best for his or her kid -- including if they even decide to bathe together, and the age to stop. My parents made the decision to stop when I was 5 because I kept asking what "that thing" was on my dad.
Is this really that bad?
