Aww. Finally! Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein is finally getting the baby she's desperately wanted for years. After what felt like an endless battle to try to get pregnant, the reality star and her plastic surgeon husband, Lenny Hochstein, have decided to use a surrogate -- and, unsurprisingly, they couldn't be more thrilled.

As RHOM fans know, Lisa and Lenny had been wanting to become parents for years. The couple sadly suffered three miscarriages and four failed attempts at IVF. Whenever the subject of adoption or surrogacy was brought up, Lisa was, understandably, dubious. She wanted to experience pregnancy first-hand, but after an incredibly long journey, this is where the couple is and they're beyond happy.

"It did not feel real, almost unbelievable!" Lisa said of learning they were going to have a baby. "Although I was beyond excited and overjoyed, we did not want to get our hopes up too high until we passed the first trimester." She said that she and her husband had tried everything to become pregnant, but it just wasn't in the cards. She also added, "Adoption was a consideration if this didn’t work."

No doubt, this was a difficult decision for Lisa, as it is for every other woman who chooses surrogacy. She kept thinking that the next time would "work," but each time she was disappointed with how things turned out. It's a brave choice to choose surrogacy when she didn't just want a child of her own -- she wanted to experience a baby in her belly.

Again, Lisa and her husband are thrilled that they'll be adding an adorable little bundle to their ridiculous mansion. And despite their road to parenthood being an uphill battle, Lisa still is holding out hope that one day she'll get pregnant. "Hopefully in the future I will have the opportunity," she said.

Congrats!

What do you think of Lisa's decision to choose surrogacy?
