Josh Duggar’s Babymaking Plans Are All About His Wallet

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar famously parented 19 children, and now that their oldest kids are starting to court, get married, and have kids of their own, it's time to really start thinking about the next generation of Duggars. And for Josh and Anna Duggar, it looks like they're not going to follow in Josh's famous parents' footsteps because Josh just announced that they won't have 20 kids.

Currently, Josh and Anna are parents to Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 3, and Marcus, 1. They're also expecting their next child, a daughter, next month. They'll probably continue with their 'M' baby name trend for their next little lady.

"We are likely going down the same path," Josh revealed. "But we'll just have to wait and see."

But as for how many more kids they'll have? They're not exactly looking to Jim Bob and Michelle for inspiration.

"I've done the math, and there's no way we can have 20 kids that I can figure," Josh says. "But the reason most people don't have a large family is because they feel the financial pressures. It's tough to have so many kids in today's world."

From the looks of things, the oldest Duggar child is being fairly realistic. While his parents had a car business, a real estate business, and, of course, a famous reality show, that may not be the case for many families. Raising a brood of 19 is no easy feat. Michelle and Jim Bob have managed it, but with their relocation to Washington, DC, Josh and Anna are under very different circumstances.

So stay tuned for whether or not there's a baby no. 5 coming their way!

How many kids do you think Josh and Anna will have?
