So, as we've all heard by now, Meghan Markle finally gave birth to her first baby earlier today, and to say the least, it's sent the world into a frenzy. Meghan and Prince Harry's new baby might have just been the most anticipated royal birth yet, simply because of how much the couple kept secret. These two made it very clear that they planned on keeping the birth of their new baby private, so the events of today have some people very confused.

First, let's recap the timing of it all.-placeholder

First, let's recap the timing of it all.

Buckingham Palace released a statement this morning that Meghan had gone into labor in the early hours of the morning London time. Then, not long after the labor announcement was made, the birth announcement appeared on Meghan and Harry's personal Instagram account.

These releases seem awfully close together, and it has fans wondering why the labor announcement wasn't made sooner.-placeholder

These two announcements were made within less than 20 minutes of each other, even though Meghan had given birth around 5:30 a.m. GMT. And the social media sleuths have taken notice to this peculiar time frame.

There's no slowing down with this royal family!

We have to admit, the timing does seem a little strange, and it's almost as if there wasn't clear instruction on who was supposed to break the news to the public. And this isn't the only thing concerning the royal birth announcement that's raising some eyebrows.

People are also asking questions because Meghan and Harry were pretty clear about not wanting to make things public right away.-placeholder

The couple released a statement through the palace saying that they planned on celebrating the birth of their baby privately before sharing the news with the rest of the world.

We had all accepted that this was the way things were going to go, so it's a bit surprising that there were even social media announcements today at all.

Lots of furrowed brows this morning.

We all thought that we'd find out about Baby Sussex's birth days after it happened, but we guess Meghan and Harry just couldn't resist.

Besides, Meghan is waiting a few days to make her first appearance, which is the main reason the couple wanted to stay out of the spotlight in the first place. So, as long as the duchess doesn't have to do the post-birth photo op, then what's the harm in sharing the news via social media?

Publicity or no publicity, we're all just glad that Baby Sussex has finally arrived and that we might be catching a glimpse of the little guy soon.-placeholder

Prince Harry revealed in his gushing interview earlier today that they are schedule to appear as a family in about two days, so patience everyone. The timing and the manner in which the baby was announced might have been a little off, but at the end of the day, there's a new adorable royal baby on the scene.
