Snooki Goes Full Mama Bear on People Criticizing Her Kids

Who would have ever imagined that wild child Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi would grow up to be such a protective and loving mama to two adorable little tykes? The Jersey Shore star has come a long way since her partying days, and she recently made a parenting decision about her kids on social media that shows just how far she's come.

The mom of Lorenzo, 2, and Giovanna, 4 months, took to her Instagram account this week to explain why she has decided to stop posting pictures of her beautiful children.

Sorry guys....xo

"Unfortunately I will not be posting any more pictures of my children on Instagram," she wrote. "Too many inappropriate and disgusting comments that do not need to be said about my babies. I also don't need strangers telling me what to do with my kids, like potty training. Sorry to the fans that appreciate my kids pics, but I'm not dealing with that."

Ugh -- I can't believe that criticizing kids is still an option in some people's minds. Just because they're the progeny of someone famous doesn't change the fact that they are children, babies in this case.

It sucks that Snooks doesn't feel comfortable sharing photos of her kids anymore because a few critical jerks made her feel bad about it, but we can't blame her one bit for her decision. Some people just can't let go of what I like to call the judgies, so the only thing you can do is remove yourself from the situation. Or in this case, your kids.

And really? Someone was criticizing her about potty training her kids? Lorenzo is only two! Geez, no wonder she doesn't want to share anymore.

Sharing pics of your kids to the online community can be a super fun way to show them off (our own kids are obviously the best, right?), but at a certain point, you have to decide how much you're willing to expose them to. Good for Snooki for protecting her kids from nasty comments, even if it means sacrificing sharing every bit of their cuteness.

How do you feel about pictures of kids on social media sites?
