Earlier this year, Joy Anna Duggar and husband Austin Forsyth suffered a heartbreaking loss when their baby was stillborn at 20 weeks -- and just months earlier, Lauren and Josiah Duggar went through a loss of their own. Now, Lauren is sharing how she supported Joy during such a difficult time.

These sisters are always there for each other!

Last year, Lauren lost her first baby in a miscarriage at five weeks.

She and Josiah named their baby Asa, and now that she's about to give birth to their baby girl, Lauren's also been sharing her feelings about her loss freely with her followers on Instagram and on Counting On.

And although a miscarriage that early in pregnancy is much different from a 20 week stillbirth, It sounds like that loss prepared her to be there for sister-in-law Joy, who dealt with her own devastating loss this year.

Lauren said it all started with the way Jessa treated her after her miscarriage.

"I just remember how sweet Jessa was. She'd write special notes and texts, just reminding me how much she loves me and that she was praying for me," Lauren told Us Weekly in an interview. "That's kind of one thing I do for Joy, sending her encouragement and sending her scripture. I know what it feels like when someone's pregnant and you're not. I know what you're feeling and just knowing to be sensitive [to] different things."

That's sweet. We're sure Joy appreciates knowing someone's thinking about her!

Lauren also shared a few words of wisdom for women who may go through a loss of their own.

"Every day, you have to give that sweet little one to the Lord," she said. "There are many times where you can just be fearful and think, 'Oh, I'm going to lose this one too.' But ... this child belongs to the Lord. He's the one that has given this life."

We know that this second pregnancy must have been scary for Lauren, but so far, everything's been going well -- and soon, she will be welcoming that little girl into the world.

We can't imagine what it must have been like for Joy-Anna to lose her daughter, Annabell, but we're glad to hear she has so much support.

She and Austin have had a heartbreaking year, but we're always impressed at Joy's strength -- and when she's pregnant again, we'll be cheering her on, just like always.

In the meantime, we love that people like Lauren are in her life to be there for her when she needs them. Having such a big family comes in handy at times like this. We're always thinking of Joy!
