Luckily, she does have some help from dad, Joe. But it seems like parenting duties have fallen to the teenager, who would have to discipline her siblings even when Teresa was still home.

Without a doubt, this is a very difficult time for the whole family. They've faced charges, battled through court dates, and received their sentences over the past year. But that doesn't mean that 14-year-old Gia should have to feel like a parent to her younger siblings. There's no excuse for that.

Do you think Gia should assume a more "mother role" while Teresa is away?
