Alyssa Milano's Easy Trick for Telling Her Baby Was a Girl -- Without an Ultrasound

alyssa milanoA mother's intuition is real, people! Raise your hand if you've ever had that "I just know" feeling about a situation. Though it gets particularly strong once your baby is born, your first instinct may kick in as soon as you're pregnant when you predict your baby's sex. That's exactly what happened to Alyssa Milano, who just knew she was having a girl.

In the August/September issue of Fit Pregnancy, the actress comes clean about just how strong her bond is with her soon-to-be baby. And when comparing this pregnancy to her previous one with son Milo, the differences were too obvious. So naturally, it must have been a girl:

I had morning sickness this time, but it went away right at 12 weeks. With Milo, I didn’t have a minute of morning sickness. So I knew it was going to be a girl.

Clearly, her form of telling if she's having a boy or girl was not based in science, but often by the time a mom gets to her doctor, he's just confirming something she already "knew."

If your previous baby was of the other sex and the current pregnancy is worlds different, it's only natural to attribute that to a boy vs. girl reason. Different symptoms, cravings, or even the shape of the bump might lead you to discover the truth.

Will that strategy work every single time? Probably not, but sometimes it doesn't take science or an ultrasound test (you hear that, Ashley and J.P.?) to tell you whether you're having a little dude or dudette.

Don't be afraid to trust that tiny gut instinct.

Did you instinctively know your baby's sex?
