'Glee' Star Heather Morris' Surprise Pregnancy Could Mean the End of Her Career

Heather MorrisWow, the cast of Glee is really owning headlines this week. After news broke that Cory Monteith entered rehab Monday morning, today his costar Heather Morris is making her own splash. The 26-year-old star who plays Brittany S. Pierce on the hit FOX show is gonna be a momma. Yup, according to Us Heather Morris is pregnant. I know. HUGE!

Morris is reportedly a little more than three months along and just now starting to show. The father? The star's longtime boyfriend and high school sweetheart Taylor Hubbell.

Although unexpected, the couple is elated. Sure, some people may think than an unplanned pregnancy for a leading actor on a hit show = not a good thing. But Heather's made it very clear that this is exactly what she wants.

In an interview with Fitness last year, Morris said that she would give up her career to live happily ever after with Taylor. "I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him," she said. "I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won't continue doing it."

The fact that this was Morris' attitude almost two years ago, the actress must genuinely be overjoyed now that it's all happening. So what if this pregnancy may be happening a few years earlier than she expected? As long as the two of them can provide a good home for their baby and a loving, nurturing environment, that is what matters.

Congratulations to Heather and Taylor! I'll be interested to see if the Glee masterminds try to work this pregnancy into a script! With that said, though, her baby is obviously going to take priority. After checking out these comments, it won't surprise me if she steps out of the spotlight entirely.

Are you excited about Heather's big baby news?
