Adrienne Maloof's Bad Husband Is a Great Dad (VIDEO)

paul nassifPaul Nassif's divorce from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof has gotten ugly. The sparkly-extensioned Bravolebrity has said some seriously nasty things about her soon-to-be ex-husband. Things like he brutalized their three sons; things that the Department of Children and Family Services has determined to be false. Yet Paul is determined to take the high-road in this mud-slinging hot mess. Despite the fact that Adrienne got a court order last week to prevent Paul from seeing his children -- at all -- he's on a mission to have their kids have both parents in their lives (i.e., he wants a joint-custody deal worked out). He recently said: "I just want this crap to stop. We need to be co-parents, no matter how we feel about each other."

I don't know about you guys, but I'm on Team Paul.

Paul is going to court this morning to have Adrienne's court order lifted. He'll also ask the judge for an order sanctioning Adrienne for falsely accusing him of child abuse. As I mentioned, the Department of Children and Family Services concluded that Adrienne's claims about Paul were false, calling the child abuse allegations completely "unfounded". They even called into question a report by psychiatrist Charles Sophy, who claimed that Paul hit the boys.

Paul recently wrote a post on his Facebook wall about the "circus" that has become his and Adrienne's divorce. He wrote: "I'm very disappointed in the ridiculous tactics that are being used that potentially compromise my relationship with my children. I hate to see others using them as pawns."

But he still wants his children to have their mother -- because that's what's best, and what's fair, for them. I think that's pretty admirable.

Paul and Adrienne's sons -- Galvin, 9, and twins Colin and Christian, 6 -- are the ones who need to be put first. That's the most important thing. They're going through a tough time right now. What they need is both of their parents.

What do you think of this? Team Adrienne or Team Paul?
