Is Jenna Jameson Too Trainwreck-y to Be a Good Mom?

jamesonJenna Jameson is one of those people you either totally scorn or kind of root for. For those of you too pure to know such things, she's a porn-star-turned-porn-magnate, who went from being one of adult film's best known stars to running her own porn empire, which she sold to Playboy in 2006 for $30 million (for the record, that is the largest amount of times I have ever typed the word "porn" at one sitting).

Now, she's a mom, raising twin boys Jesse Jameson and Journey Jett with partner Tito Ortiz, an ultimate fighting champion. She says she quit porn for them, even getting rid of her breast implants, and that her community accepts her as just another mom.

Jenna, sweetie: No they don't.

You don't look like just another mom, your background with lawsuits flung like Frisbees between you and former business partners is not that of just another SAHM, and your turbulent life seems destined to continue, given that you and your partner filed domestic violence charges against each other back in April, which you've since recanted.

That's not to say that you're the pariah of the preschool: I'm sure plenty of people like you for who you are and either don't care about your past or are kind of impressed by it. Others, though ... well, we've all come up against the judgy mommy. Can you imagine what a festival of middle school girl nastiness it would be to find Jenna Jameson pushing her stroller down your block, if you were such a person? I'm guessing she's got a pretty thick skin by now, but it still hurts to be the target of the neighborhood biddies.

Jenna says she doesn't plan to tell her boys in so many words what she did for a living before they were born:

I really don’t think I need to say, "Mommy was a porn star." I feel like they’re going to know me and think, Mommy loved us so much that she quit everything and made us her job. And that’s what I did. The moment I decided to have children, I quit. I won’t even do a Maxim cover.

What do you think: Can porn stars make good moms? Am I just being judgy to think they can't?
