Amy Roloff's Journey To Leaving the Family Farm

Amy Roloff

It's been almost five years since Matt and Amy Roloff announced that they'd be going their separate ways as a couple. After sharing so much of their family's ups and downs on Little People, Big World, that part of their relationship was coming to an end -- and even though it was hard for fans to swallow, it really did seem like it was for the best. But what people really want to know is what is going to happen to Roloff Farm now that they were splitting up ... and at first, not even Amy or Matt could answer that particular question.

Since then, Matt and Amy have both come a long way -- both in their relationship with each other and in their personal lives. (They are going to be in each other's lives forever, thanks to the kids they share.) They both started dating other people and are in long-term relationships (Amy is even engaged to boyfriend Chris Marek). But what was really missing was a game plan about how to handle the farm, and anyone who's been watching the show knows that their arrangement of living on the same property definitely wasn't working.

Fortunately, everything ended up working out for the best, and today, Matt and Amy are living very separate lives, and they both seem happier than ever.

Read on for a full timeline of Amy's journey to leaving Roloff Farm, from the time she and Matt got divorced to when she finally sold her half of the farm, bought a new pad, and started this new chapter of her life. We can't wait to see what happens in the future. We have a feeling a lot of very exciting things are in store for this lady.
