Jon Gosselin Has To 'Reparent' Hannah & Collin Because of Kate

We always knew things between Jon and Kate Gosselin have been ... interesting since they divorced in 2009. And though many years -- a decade -- has passed, it looks like there won't be light at the end of the tunnel on the journey to co-parenting. Jon Gosselin recently opened up about Kate in a new interview, and the latest confession we're hearing is quite interesting to say the least.

  • On Monday, Jon paid a visit to 'The Doctor Oz Show,' where he opened up about Kate and made some interesting accusations.

For starters, Jon claims Kate has "personality disorders" (peep the plural) and accused her of being consumed by fame and money.

"Fame's different only because fame … things are given to you. You're held to a higher standard. You're put on a pedestal … the attention, it’s almost like a drug," the single dad mentioned. "Like an addiction. And once you have that, and that lifestyle, you can see certain tendencies in people. It just … it feeds and feeds and feeds."

  • ... like having to push the reset button on Collin and Hannah, who live with him, to undo things Kate Gosselin has done.

For those who don't know, Jon has custody of Hannah Gosselin. Though Kate fought to regain custody of Hannah twice, the courts denied her attempts last year. Months later, another judge awarded Jon sole custody of their son, Collin Gosselin, who Kate sent away to a treatment center in 2016 for special needs Jon says he doesn't have.

Reportedly, Kate hasn't seen Collin since he's been out of the treatment center, so it seems safe to say their relationship is strained.

  • "I have to reparent my kids," Jon Gosselin confessed on the show.

"A lot of stuff happened, abuse wise, mental, physical -- even though they are 15, they might [behave like they're] 12. The mental abuse, the [parental] alienation, just the put-downs … Isolation is a huge one," he continued. "I make them join clubs and go to dances and football games. ... We all go to … therapy."

As for co-parenting with Kate, Jon says it's not in the cards for them at all.

"We don't have a relationship right now," Jon added. "We don't talk, nothing. The only time I see my ex-wife is in court. It's just never going to happen due to personality disorders and everything else. We just have different aspects of how we want to parent. In two more years, we are going to have a lot of adults."

  • We don't really know what to say at this point ...

Seeing that twins Cara and Mady are now 18, and Jon seemingly hasn't had a close relationship with his other kids -- Aaden, Leah, Joel, and Alexis, 15 -- for so long, we don't know how this will shake out. We would think the siblings would all want to maintain some type of relationship (especially with Collin now that he's out), so maybe there will be a chance for healing and reconciliation?

    Time will have to tell.
