Looks like Kate Middleton and Prince William had a bit of a scary situation during their trip to Pakistan. Apparently, Will and Kate's plane had to turn around when it got stuck in the middle of a bad storm, delaying their plans a bit.

We're just glad to hear everyone's okay!

  • After their day in Lahore, Will and Kate tried to go back to Islamabad ... but it wasn't meant to be.

According to People, a lightning storm hit, causing the pilot to turn around and head back to Lahore instead of on to their destination. This meant that their flight was two hours long instead of 25 minutes, and they still didn't get to where they needed to go.

    Yikes!

Yep, this is not weather we'd want to be traveling in! Thankfully, it sounds like everything was just fine, thanks to a pilot who was totally on his game. They weren't able to land like they planned, but what's most important is that no one was hurt.

  • And apparently, Will was in pretty good spirits, even as the scary flight was happening.

People reported that Will was joking with members of the media who were also on the plane, saying that they'd either get to have a night out in Lahore or go back to Islamabad.

And as it turns out, everything was okay -- good for Will for keeping everyone calm!

  • Hopefully, the rest of their trip will be much less eventful.

After all, what could be more exciting than being trapped in an electrical storm while flying in a plane? Uh, not too many things!

So far, their trip has seemed like so much fun and it should only get better from here. Not even a storm could get in Will and Kate's way!
