Billionaire Kylie Jenner Reportedly Wants to Buy Her Own Private Island Because Why Not?

What to get the girl who has everything? If that girl is Kylie Jenner, her own island, apparently. According to a new report, Kylie wants to buy a private island, because of course she does. What else should a young billionaire do with her stacks of cash, anyway?

  • As Radar Online reported, Kylie's in the market for an island somewhere in the South Pacific.

It sounds as if she's willing to spend "tens of millions" on the right island for her. How does one even decide what makes the right island to purchase? Clear water and white sandy beaches are a given, but this isn't the kind of real estate most of us ever get to shop for.

The source also said that Kylie has her own private jet to get there -- why not keep the exclusivity going once she reaches her destination?

  • Who inspired Kylie's decision? Queen Bey, it seems.

“She knows that people like Jay Z and Beyonce already have their private islands, so naturally Kylie wants one of her own,” the insider said.

Well, of course everyone wants what Beyonce has -- she's a trendsetter, and she's Beyonce, for crying out loud. But that doesn't mean we all go out and buy an island!

  • But even though it seems outrageous, we're not necessarily surprised by this news.

Kylie's young, she has more money than she knows what to do with, and a private island does sound pretty cool. Actually, we're kind of surprised that no one in the Kardashian family has purchased one yet. We know Kanye's itching for a city to name after himself.

Besides, because Kylie just turned 22, maybe she can keep the celebration going on Kylie Island. If she finds one shaped like the Kylie Cosmetics logo, it's fate.

  • And let's be real -- Kylie and Stormi would have a blast.

Who knows? Maybe Travis will go halfsies if she lets him name it AstroIsland.

No confirmation from Kylie on whether or not this news is true, but we guess we'll know for sure if she turns up on her own island. Is it OK if we're starting to get a little jealous?
