Since Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk decided to go their separate ways, both halves of this former couple have been pretty quiet about their breakup. But Irina has broken her silence about her split from Bradley in a new interview, and we have to admire how she's reacting to the whole thing.

  • Despite her very public breakup, Irina said that she still believes in love.

In her cover interview for Harper's Bazaar's September issue, Irina admits that marriage is still something she believes in -- even though her serious relationship with Bradley Cooper didn't seem to end well.

"Everyone looks at it differently," Irina said. "Do I believe in marriage? Yes, of course. I'm not the kind of person who is against it."

We're glad to hear it -- she deserves love and happiness in her future, and she should go after it!

"I think it's just human beings: If you cannot have it, you want to have it," she said. "There's a curtain there, you want to open the curtain. It's curiosity I guess."

That's true -- we are always curious about what's going on behind the scenes with celebrity couples. But we know it can't be easy to have so much speculation happening, and fortunately, it seems as if Irina is taking it in stride.

  • Bradley and Irina split in June after four years of dating.

Not that we didn't see it coming, of course.

There were a lot of reports that Bradley and Irina could be breaking up sooner rather than later -- and Bradley's chemistry with Lady Gaga in A Star Is Born (and all the promotional events they did together after filming) made us wonder if there wasn't trouble in their relationship.

And news that Gaga split from fiancé Christian Carino only fueled those rumors.

Despite the high-profile breakup, it seems Irina is doing just fine, and we're glad to hear it. We know that her and Cooper's daughter, Lea De Seine, 2, is what matters most right now.

  • After this update, fans are sharing their support for Irina.

In fact, many commenters seem to be rooting for her -- and we're sure the 33-year-old model agrees that it's time for her to finally get the privacy she's been asking for.

Not just for her sake, but for her daughter's, too.

  • We love Irina's positive outlook, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

We have no doubt that there is a wonderful person waiting for her in the future. Our fingers are crossed that in the meantime, she and Bradley can keep a healthy co-parenting relationship going. After all, Lea is who matters most.
