We would say this (accusation) is unexpected, but that would be a lie. Amy Roloff is accusing Matt of cheating while married with his current girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. Although the allegations are from Amy's point of view, Little People, Big World fans have speculated for some time that Matt was unfaithful to Amy while they were married.

  • In her new book, A Little Me, Amy is opening up about her life, including things the cameras didn't catch.

Amy Roloff even admits to wanting to get surgery to change the way she looks. "I still sometimes struggle with body image, especially as I get older," the reality star writes in her book, CheatSheet.com reports.

"When my body started to go south, I'll admit, I thought about getting some sort of plastic surgery to give the old body a little lift. After doing reality television for fifteen years and seeing so many women having it done, I guess it's no surprise that it crept into my mind."

  • And it looks as if Matt and his current girlfriend might've gotten close while he was still a married man.

Matt and Amy divorced back in 2016 after nearly 30 years of marriage. The once couple -- who have four children together: twins Zach and Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob Roloff -- have since moved on. Amy has been with boyfriend Chris Marek for almost three years, and Matt and Caryn have been together since ... well, if these accusations are true, he was married.

  • "Matt was spending more and more time at the tavern he often frequented in the evenings after filming and working on the farm," she reveals.

"... and our farm manager seemed to be around more and more often as well. What, if anything, was going on?" Amy Roloff questions in her book about Matt and Caryn's relationship, People reports.

"Then it dawned on me. Matt and our farm manager, who had been working for us a number of years by then, seemed to have more than just a working relationship or friendship."

  • "I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together ..."

" I was devastated," she adds.

"In hindsight, I know I should have said something right away, but I didn't. I was scared and ashamed anything remotely like this could be happening. Was Matt really interested in someone else right in front of me? Why would he even go there when we were still married?"

Caryn Chandler was married for almost 20 years before her now-ex-husband filed for divorce in 2012.

  • Since news of Amy's allegations has made headlines, Matt posted a message that appears to be a response.

"@carynchandler1 and sitting here Amazed at the simple beautiful moon lingering brightly over the farm as if to say. 'keeping taking the high Road. It's the only one that matters!'" Matt Roloff writes in his Instagram post.

  • We don't know what to say about this.

Obviously, it's nobody's business what happens in a marriage except for the people involved. But because folks are sharing their business in books, we have to say it's not a good look for married folks to be maybe courting other people. Legal separation is one thing, but everything else takes a turn down a road we don't want to visit.

Regardless of what happened, Amy and Matt seem happy in their respective relationships, so maybe there can be healing and forgiveness so no one is taking past hurts into the future.
