The entire royal family is back in business! To celebrate Queen Elizabeth's birthday, the top members of the royal family gather for the Trooping the Colour ceremony, and this was a particularly monumental year for our favorite clan. We can't help but get excited any time we see the whole gang together, so today's festivities were no exception.

  • There have certainly been a lot of changes in the royal family since the last ceremony in 2018. Remember Meghan's debut?

Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding had only been a few weeks prior when they made their Trooping the Colour debut as a married couple. Now? Now, these two have a new royal baby. Plus, we can't forget that the Cambridge crew expanded last year too with the birth of Prince Louis.

With all of these recent changes, needless to say, this year's ceremony looked much different than the one 12 months ago.

It is a little surprising that she went with such a dark color for her attire this year, given how bright her pastel pink ensemble was at Trooping the Colour 2018, but perhaps she's just not quite feeling like herself yet so soon after giving birth. It's barely been a month, so it's really not all that surprising that she went for a more subdued look.

  • Kate was seated across from Meghan in the carriage, and seemed quite amused by something she said.

Certainly Meg and Kate have bonded over motherhood, and it looks like we can finally put to rest any rumors of a feud between them. Seating them together for the ride to the ceremony could possibly have been even more deliberate than it looks. Maybe the palace wanted to send a message that all is well between our favorite royal duchesses? Kate also wore the same hat she wore to Meghan and Harry's wedding, which was a very sweet gesture, indeed.

  • But here's the moment we were all waiting for -- the whole gang making a balcony appearance.

What a momentous occasion -- Prince Louis made his balcony debut! Most royals make this milestone after turning a year old, and Louis just celebrated his first birthday back on April 23.

  • Look at that wave!

Prince Louis appears to be trying to steal big sister Charlotte's signature move! He certainly caught our attention. What a little cutie!

Side note -- George is clearly over the whole hoopla. Been there. Done that. (Is there going to be cake after this boring display?)

  • Here's the wave again!

He's already such a little pro!

  • Meghan looked happy as can be during the balcony appearance.

But what's up with Harry looking all glum? He appeared distant in the carriage ride too, so who knows what the heck was going on here. Maybe Archie kept him up all night? Hmm.

And although we didn't catch a glimpse of him today, maybe at Trooping the Colour 2020, little Arch will be in Meghan's arms! We can only hope.
