Meghan Markle may be on maternity leave, but Prince Harry is already back at work, spending time at Oxford Children's Hospital on Tuesday, May 14. The new dad spent time with the young patients and their parents, and even received a special gift from a fan for his baby son at home.

  • Harry played with the young patients at the hospital, and opened up to some of the parents about being a new dad himself.

Mom Ida Scullard has a 3-year-old son named Emmett, who is in remission after facing testicular cancer, as well as a 10-week-old infant daughter. She told Hello! magazine, "Harry asked me if she was over the stormy period as babies are supposed be grumpy for the first 10 weeks -- and she is. He said he's getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life. He said he just feels part of the family and he can't imagine life without his son."

Another mom, Amy, shared that Harry is still feeling surreal about fatherhood. She said, "[He said] he's still getting used to the idea that he's a parent himself."

  • Fans are eager to show their affection for baby Archie, and even give gifts for the newborn.

Former patient Daisy Wingrove, 13, gifted the Duke of Sussex with a sweet teddy bear for baby Archie, and he looks absolutely delighted with it. Of course, Archie is too small to play with the plush right now. We hope that Harry hangs onto the toy so that his son will know just how special his arrival to the world was, and that he learns to appreciate his impact on others.

  • Archie is only 9 days old, but Harry has jumped right back into work -- while openly celebrating fatherhood, too.

Last week he made a day trip to the Netherlands, where his 2020 Invictus Games will take place. He wore a jacket with "Invictus Family Daddy" embroidered on it, and was given a specially made baby onesie for Archie by Princess Margriet.

While chatting with a friend, the prince reportedly said that being a dad is the "best thing he will ever do."

  • So far we've only gotten a few glimpses of baby Archie, so we are soaking up every detail we can.

An insider told Us Weekly, "Harry and Meghan are truly in baby bliss right now. It is a life they've both dreamed of and now they get to live it."

They certainly look like parenthood suits them!
