We love watching movies and television shows because we get transported to another world, get to take part in some pretty crazy story lines, and get caught up in some pretty steamy romances, too! There's nothing better than watching two people fall in love (or lust) on screen, and we just can't help but love the idea of them falling in love in real life -- which is a total testament to them, because it means they're doing their job well. Oftentimes, however, they're doing just that (their job), and even if said job means getting steamy with a coworker, not all on-screen couples become off-screen ones.

But when they get together -- and actually stay together -- it can truly be magical.

Although a number of costars-turned-lovers have since fizzled, some actually have stood the test of time that's quite remarkable given how fickle the industry can be. Still, some of these Hollywood pairs gave us the feels while starring -- sometimes as lovers -- on the television shows we've come to adore.

Without further adieu, here's a look at some TV costars who got together in real life and are still going strong.

  • Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos

Talk about OGs in the game!

These two have been together since 1995, starring alongside each other on All My Children. Kelly and Mark eloped in Vegas a year later and recently celebrated 23 years of marriage -- woo hoo! Decades down and three children later, these two are still making television appearances together. Aside from Mark filling in on Kelly's show, Live With Kelly and Ryan!, on occasion, Kelly made an appearance on Riverdale as his character's mistress that was pretty hot.

  • Lili Reinhart & Cole Sprouse

Speaking of Riverdale, Betty Cooper and Jughead are a thing in real life!

Although they are uber private about their relationship, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have been dating since 2017. They're clearly in love, with Sprouse even calling her his "muse" on social media. As for Reinhart, however, she stays pretty tight-lipped about their love, telling Harper's Bazaar, "I'm not OK talking about my relationship."

  • Camila Mendes & Charles Melton

But wait, there's more Riverdale romances!

As Veronica Lodge and Reggie Mantle on the show, Camila and Charles shared more than a few kisses. And it seems that love has translated off the show as these two have been together for two years and counting.

  • Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis

The cutest couple both o -screen and off! Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's characters, Jackie and Kelso, dated on That '70s Show from 1998 to 2006. Even though the actors were not romantically linked at the time, they started dating in 2012 and got married in 2015. They have since welcomed two children together.

  • Ginnifer Goodwin & Josh Dallas

Talk about a fairy tale! Jennifer and Josh met on the set of Once Upon a Time. (She played Snow White, and he played Prince Charming.) Well, they fell in love and are living out their happily ever after. The couple wed in 2014 and have two kids together.

  • Kit Harrington & Rose Leslie

Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie play Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones and were romanticaly linked on and off the screen. Although Leslie was sadly killed off the show in 2014, the two wed in 2018. Fans miss her character, and for Harrington, it was one of his favorite moments. "I liked her death. I know, it sounds bizarre," he told People. "I thought she nailed that. And it's the first time in Thrones that slow motion was used and I think it's a beautiful, cradling moment as this battle is raging in the background. It was one of those incredible shots."

  • Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer

These True Blood costars couldn't deny their on-screen chemistry. They met in 2008 while filming the show, and almost instantly they started dating. Anna and Stephen wed in 2010 and are parents to twins Poppy and Charlie. Paquin recently said that she and Moyer are "best friends."

"We're incredibly lucky that we found each other," she told Us Weekly.

  • Emily VanCamp & Josh Bowman

Wed on screen and off, Emily and Josh lived out a real life romance ... twice. They met on the set of Revenge in 2011, and they started dating a year later. The show wrapped in 2015, and the couple wed three years later in the Bahamas. But VanCamp did admit to keeping their on-screen and off-screen romance quite separate. "Josh and I keep it all very separate. I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest," she once revealed.

  • Keri Russell & Matthew Rhys

From 2013 to 2018, Keri Russell and Mattew Rhys starred opposite each other on the FX drama The Americans. Their chemistry was undeniable, with rumors swirling for years of a possible romance. Although they worked hard to deny it, they eventually went public in 2014 and welcomed their first child together in 2016.

  • Ben McKenzie & Morena Baccarin

Although these two officially began dating after meeting on the set of Gotham, they actually were introduced years earlier while working on The OC. "I apparently blew her off," McKenzie told James Corden. "So I'm thinking, 'What kind of idiot would blow off this gorgeous, beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent, successful woman?' Then I thought of what kind of boy I was at 25, and [I was] that kind of idiot."

Luckily for him, it all worked out. The two had their first child together in 2016, and they got married a year later.

  • Natalia Dyer & Charlie Heaton

Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler are everyone's favorite "almost" couple on Stranger Things, but in real life, they're full-on together. Heaton told reporters that he absolutely loves having Dyer on set. "Because we work in the same industry and have had similar trajectories, we've gone through it together," he revealed. "Sharing that does bring you closer. They understand something that maybe no one else would."

  • Vincent Kartheiser & Alexis Bledel

In Mad Men, Alexis and Vincent's characters are having an affair with each other. But in real life, they're happily married with one child. These two are very private and keep their relationship as something sacred just for themselves.

"It's something I realized about the most important things in my life," Kartheiser told Vulture. "If I share them with the world and I open that door to their fuming anger that they need to get out or their adoration that they want to flaunt, it lessens it. It cheapens it; it weakens it. And it's magical, love, and all of that is ... profoundly spiritual, and it just doesn't feel right."

  • Lisa Rinna & Harry Hamlin

Veronica Mars fans likely remember seeing these two together. Married since 1997, Lisa and Mark guest-starred on the show as Logan's parents. Although their on-air romance wasn't super successful, the Real Housewives star and the long-time actor continue to go strong in real life.

  • Tea Leoni & Tim Daly

  • Jared & Genevieve Padalecki

"I thought she was cute and smart and would always read books ... I thought she was awesome," Jared Padalecki once revealed about meeting his wife. Jared and Genevieve met during the fourth season of the hit show Supernatural and now have three adorable children together.
