When it rains, it pours. Lori Loughlin has been indicted on new charges for her alleged part in a college admissions scandal that continues to turn heads. There's simply no words to convey this craziness -- other than the obvious:

Aunt Becky has truly fallen from grace.

  • A federal grand jury indicted Lori and 15 other parents on charges of "fraud and money laundering."

The Daily Beast reports Lori and the others "were charged in a second superseding indictment on Tuesday with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, honest services mail and wire fraud, and a new count of conspiracy to commit money laundering."

    YIKES.

  • It appears the new charges come in response to Lori and crew laundering money through various outlets -- including a "charity."

Apparently, these parents intentionally funneled money through mastermind Rick Singer's "purported charity and his for-profit corporation [--] as well as by transferring money into the United States, from outside the United States [--] for the purpose of promoting the fraud scheme."

So yeah, it's not looking good at all for Lori.

  • Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were already facing at least two years in prison for their involvement.

It was just reported Lori's plea deal comes with jail time as two years is the minimum. Should the book get thrown at her, Lori could face a maximum of 20 years in a federal prison, though we highly doubt that will be the case.

Lori and Mossimo were initially indicted on charges after allegedly shelling out $500,000 for their daughters -- Isabella, 20, and Olivia Jade, 19 -- to attend USC, under the guise of being recruits for the crew team. Lori reportedly did not think the college scam was a "huge deal," but something tells us she's likely singing a different tune now.
  • But that will likely change now that she's been hit with new charges.

This case has been called the "largest college admissions scam prosecuted by the Justice Department," so it's not just another "oops" from privileged and wealthy individuals.

We can only imagine what else is on the way for this former Hallmark star.
