Kourtney Kardashian’s 6-Year-Old Already Wears Makeup

Kourtney Kardashian

She's a girl after her mom's own heart. Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope may only be 6 years old, but apparently she already has a penchant for makeup like her famous mama. Kourt revealed in a new video this week that Penelope is into makeup, and she lets her wear it.

  • The mom of three explained that she likes to keep her young daughter's makeup "clean."

In a new video made for Vogue about Kourt's skin care and makeup routine, she admitted, "My daughter loves makeup. She has a little vanity in her room that my mom [Kris Jenner] gave her for Christmas."

"I let her play, and I try to keep her makeup as clean as possible," she continued. The mom of three has long been vocal about her efforts to use natural and organic beauty products whenever possible.

  • Penelope's practically an old pro at makeup by now though, along with her cousin, North West.

Kourt confessed in 2016 that her then 4-year-old was already into makeup. She revealed that her daughter, and her sister Kim Kardashian's daughter, North, have naturally gotten into it, as they like to imitate their moms.

She explained, "Penelope is into makeup and beauty, I think just from seeing me We get our hair and makeup done a lot, and usually we try to do it at our house, so she's around a lot. My mom [Kris Jenner] got Penelope and North these little vanities for Christmas and filled it with makeup."

  • It honestly makes sense, even if it sounds weird for a 6-year-old to be wearing makeup.

After all, she is growing up in one of the most glamorous families in America. Her aunt, Kendall Jenner, is literally a supermodel. Aunt Kim and Aunt Kylie own their own makeup brands. And Penelope's mom just launched Poosh, an upscale lifestyle website.

  • Besides, it's not like we've ever seen sweet Penelope out in a full face of perfectly contoured makeup.

She's just a little girl. Let her have some lipstick and blush while she plays at her kid-sized vanity. After all, what little girl doesn't want to be like her mom?
