It's the day we've pretty much all been waiting for! It was the pregnancy heard all around the world, and it's time to really celebrate. After a few weeks of hiding it, months of downright fabulous maternity style, and thousands of very anxious fans waiting, our dear duchess Meghan Markle has finally given birth to her first royal baby! Welcome to the family, Baby Sussex!

  • Meghan and Harry reportedly welcomed their little royal bundle, a baby boy, on Monday morning.

    The exciting news was announced on the couple's official Instagram account. "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.," the caption said along with a blue tile sharing that their little one is a boy.

  • There was some debate as to where Meghan planned on giving birth, and more details are expected to be shared in the days to come.

    "The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives," the Instagram post continued. "More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."

  • Unsurprisingly, Meghan was a royal trailblazer all throughout her pregnancy, so we know nothing's going to change now that the baby is born.

    The duchess is already planning to nix the traditional royal clothes for the little tot, so who knows what other molds she'll be breaking as a new mom.
