Kylie Jenner Responds to Criticism That She's Not 'Self-Made'

She's got a lot going on in her life. Kylie Jenner is only 21 years old, but she's already a mom and a billionaire businesswoman, in addition to being a reality TV star and a social media sensation. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently opened up in an interview about being a young mom, her plans for baby number two, and what she really thinks about being called a "self-made billionaire" after all the backlash from the label.

When Forbes titled Kylie the youngest self-made billionaire in history earlier this month, people were pretty upset about her being categorized as "self-made." After all, wasn't she born into a very wealthy, very famous family? It's not like any teenager can just decide to start a cosmetics company and get backing. Most would be laughed out of town, but not Kylie.

But just because she had a platform, that doesn't mean she doesn't think she earned the title. She got real in a recent interview with Interview magazine, insisting, "There's really no other word to use than self-made." She explained why her privileged position may have helped her start her venture but that she has not taken money from her parents from 15 on, and invested 100 percent of her own money into Kylie Cosmetics.

Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian, along with mom Kris Jenner, also defended Ky's self-made status. Self-made or not, we have to give Kylie major props for being an amazing businesswoman, especially at such a young age.

Stormi's mom also opened up about having more babies with boyfriend Travis Scott, despite the rumors he was sliding into some other girls' DMs earlier this month. Is Stormi going to be a big sister soon? Watch below to find out when Kylie is planning to have another little one.
