Doesn't sound like things are going well for a certain Real Housewives husband. Joe Giudice isn't doing well in US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, according to reports, as he awaits possible deportation that will likely happen after years away from his family.

(Given those circumstances, how could he?)

  • Joe was released from prison on March 14 after serving close to four years behind bars.

Back in 2014, Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud, resulting in jail sentences for the two. Teresa served 11 months the following year, with Joe starting his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016. Us Weekly notes the reality show couple also had to pay Uncle Sam and the New Jersey Department of Treasury, even though their bankruptcy case got dismissed.

Though Joe was released from prison, his legal woes are far from gone. Last year, a judge ruled for Joe to be deported back to Italy once he completes his prison sentence. Though Joe came to the United States as a baby, he didn't take the steps to become a citizen as he didn't think he had to. As a result, it's believed Joe won't be able to visit his family -- Teresa and daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9 -- in the United States anymore.

  • "Joe has been struggling since leaving his family and checking into prison," a source tells HollywoodLife.com.

"Things have only gotten worse for him now that he is being held by ICE," the insider continues in the exclusive interview about how Joe is doing after prison. "[He] feels powerless over his future and fears being sent away forever."

It also seems Joe is fearful Teresa might leave. "Joe is not naive either, he fears that Teresa may leave him because of this mess," the unnamed insider explains. "[Joe] wants to get home as soon as possible so he can repair his family and the damage done by his time away from Teresa and the kids. • Not sure what to say about this one.

As sad as it is for a family to split, there was a crime involved and a punishment that comes with the territory. Teresa sorta confirmed she'll divorce Joe if he gets deported that might happen.

So yeah, we don't know what to say.
