Those who've watched A Star Is Born -- or, really, anyone who has read any sort of tabloid in recent months -- can't seem to shake the suspicion that costars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are maybe romantically involved. (The timing of Gaga ending her engagement also hasn't helped the rumors die down.) Adding fuel to that fire was their steamy rendition of "Shallow" at the 2019 Oscars that turned a few heads -- including someone once involved with the actor. Apparently, Bradley Cooper's ex-wife had a reaction to seeing him and Gaga together that has people sounding off.
  • It all started when actor David Spade made a joke regarding the duo's performance.

"Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f*cking?" he asked his followers.

(Wow, way to beat around the bush with that one.)

  • Lots of his followers chimed in, wondering if Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga hooked up.

Outside of rumors and news about costars dating, there have also been reports around costars who might've secretly had an affair while filming a movie or television show. We're definitely not saying that happened in this case but can understand why some peeps might be curious given Bradley and Gaga's insane chemistry.
  • Even Jennifer Esposito, Bradley's ex-wife, had to throw in her two cents, causing eyebrows to raise.

All she said was a simple "ha," but honestly, what is that supposed to mean?!

    (Seriously, what does it mean?)

  • Bradley and Jennifer were married for a brief (like, four months brief) period of time. And from the sound of things, it wasn't great.

In her book, Jennifer's Way, the actress opened up about the relationship, saying that her ex was "funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator."

"I didn't necessarily find him that attractive, but I figured that I could enjoy his sense of humor and nonsense for a while," Jennifer alleges, talking about Bradley. She went on to reveal that the star had a "mean, cold side" and claims "the relationship was about him and what he needed, and nothing else."

  • If Jennifer does indeed think that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are more than friends, she's not alone.

Plenty of others shared their thoughts on David's Instagram post, saying they were thinking the same exact thing. Some even admitted they felt sorry for Irina Shayk, Bradley's current girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, Lea, who was in attendance that night as well.

  • Seriously guys, stop.

It's very possible Lady Gaga is still nursing a broken heart given her engagement just ended. Plus, Bradley has been with Irina for years and doesn't seem like he's unhappy with her.

Also, are people seriously rooting for someone to leave the mother of their child for a coworker?

Let's put this in perspective, guys!

  • We understand it's tempting to want Lady Gaga and Bradley to get together in real life, but let's remember that these are actual people.

So let it go ... like for real. We can't root for people to be together when there are others involved. It ain't cute and shouldn't be what we're about.
