Wow. Some people really do have too much time on their hands. In what can only be described as one of the most outlandish things we've heard about the Duchess of Sussex to date, believe it or not, there's a conspiracy theory going around insisting that Meghan Markle is not pregnant -- and that the baby bump we've spotted growing on her is nothing more than a fake.

  • Yes, really. A fake. As in a prosthetic. Seriously?

Apparently while we were too busy ooh-ing and aah-ing over how radiant Meghan looks every time she steps out for an appearance, others have been closely examining her mid-section and have felt compelled to take to social media to tell the world that Meg and Harry are totally pulling a fast one on us.

  • What is this? Beyonce 2.0?

How can we ever forget the whole ordeal with Beyonce's bump "disappearing" when she appeared on an Australian talk show? This definitely feels reminiscent of that, though from all of the photos and videos we've seen, Meghan's bump looks like, well, a regular old baby bump.

  • Based on the dates of some of the tweets, this conspiracy theory has been going on for a while, though it's just now gaining more attention.

Um, if her bump weren't real and she was trying to hide something, wouldn't it make more sense to wear a dress that was a little less fitted?

  • Yet another doubter referred to the bump as "rubber." Nice touch.

Hey Good Couple -- It's "you're" wise, not "your." (Just sayin'...)

  • Are we the only ones who haven't noticed it disappearing?

    What are we missing, here?

  • These theorists believe Meghan and Harry have hired a surrogate to carry the royal child.

So, the way her dress is hanging is "proof?" M'kay ...

  • Wait, what?

Where did this person hear that Meghan told her ex, Trevor Engelson, that she could not get pregnant? Hmm ...

  • At least "Hayley" threw a little humor into the mix.

  • Thankfully, there are voices of reason out there too.

This woman perfectly summed up what the rest of us are all thinking about this nonsense. Enough, already! Why can't people leave Meghan alone and just let her ... live her life? It's maddening.

  • And honestly, this is the last thing she needs right now.

Sure, there are perks to marrying into the royal family and living in the lap of luxury, but the level of scrutiny Meghan has been under since she and Harry made things official in May is nothing short of outrageous, not to mention unfair.

Gee ... and we wonder why members of the royal family aren't allowed to have social media accounts. Perhaps it's for their own sanity?

Hang in there, Meghan. And for the love of all things royal, don't ever be tempted to check Twitter.
