True Thompson's First Word Isn't What Mom Khloe Kardashian Expected

Khloe Kardashian has revealed what her 7-month-old daughter's first word was, and it seems to have hit her by surprise. Sweet little True Thompson loves smiling and has three teeth already, and Khloe also shared that she has to tickle her to get her to giggle. But when it came to saying her first word, Khloe thought there may be a mistake.

  • Though looking at this sweet little one, it's clear that anything that she says must be the cutest thing ever.

The details were revealed on Khloe's blog, Khloe With A K, and in the post titled "True's Talking!" she wrote: "I can't believe my baby is seven-months-old! True now has three teeth and she's going to crawl any second. She also smiles constantly, but I still can't get that little munchkin to laugh unless I tickle her. Maybe I'm just not funny, LOL. She also says 'dada,' but I think she means 'mama.'"

  • Of course "dada" is Tristan Thompson -- he who cheated on Khloe.

It's clear that Tristan and Khloe get along -- no matter what phase they are in their relationship. They spent Thanksgiving together as a family, and Khloe wasn't having any negative talk about that as she noted that she has spent the holiday with him for the last three years. She has her own family unit now, and it's quite beautiful she is nurturing that, especially when it comes to her daughter.

  • As it turns out, "dada" is one of the more common first words for babies.

Tori Spelling's daughter Hattie's first word was "dada" and even Saint West cooed "dada" first. Both of these moms were notably bummed (in a lighthearted way), so it's totally in-line for Khloe to think that True must have meant to say "mama."

  • What everyone wants is for True to have a happy life filled with love.

Khloe has proven herself to be an incredible person who can rise above strife -- and this is especially seen with her relationship with Tristan. They have this beautiful baby together and Khloe isn't going to stoop to ugliness even when they have fallen on some very hard times. Nothing will change the fact that Tristan is True's dad, and so together they will raise this sweetie and they are doing it well. Tristan is obviously doing a good job being that he got the first word honor.

But Khloe's sentiment is still so understandable -- every mama kind of wants her kid to say "mama" first.
