Although the world holds Meghan Markle in the highest regard when it comes to her style choices, certain members of the royal family aren't feeling her wardrobe as of late. In fact, according to sources, Meghan was told to dress more royal recently after a few of her outfit choices on her tour of Australia irritated her extended royal family -- including Queen Elizabeth

  • According to the Mail on Sunday, Meghan, who we all know has Hollywood roots, has been told to "dress more like a royal."

"Meghan is being told she needs to start dressing less like a Hollywood star and more like a royal,” a palace source told the publication. Evidently, in addition to some of Meghan's "controversial" sartorial choices on her recent tour, she also raised a few eyebrows in August when she wore a dress to "Hamilton" that had a hemline several inches above the knee -- a breach of royal protocol.

  • Meghan reportedly also annoyed the Queen during their first joint outing together.

Sources say that, in addition to Meghan's clothing choices not sitting well with the queen on several occasions, she was personally offended Meghan failed to follow her example and wear a hat when they visited Chester together.

  • Sources also told Mail on Sunday that Meghan's Hollywood roots are a bit troubling for royal traditionalists.

Apparently, not everyone was thrilled that there were so many celebrities at the royal wedding in May. (To be honest, this one's a little hard to believe, being that both Kate and Will and Princess Eugenie all had celebs at their respective weddings.)

The most shocking claim of all, however, is one (from the same report) that alleges that Meghan has been extremely demanding since joining the royal family. What?! Apparently, the duchess wakes up at 5 a.m. each day and starts firing off texts to staff detailing ideas and requests. A source said that, on an average day, palace aides receive six or seven texts from Meghan.

Hmmm ... not sure we believe that one either.

  • So far, everything we've seen of Meghan seems genuine, good-natured, intelligent, and kind -- so not sure we're buying these reports.

Whenever someone rises to fame, there's always a smear campaign to follow.

Hopefully, Meghan isn't getting too caught up in the press and she's simply enjoying her life with Harry and her baby-to-be.

As the age-old saying goes: Haters gonna hate.
