Since when did it become OK to shame someone else for doing something well? Actress Keira Knightley recently called out Kate Middleton for looking too good after giving birth to her three children, and apparently, the Duchess of Cambridge is not impressed by her criticism.

  • The Pirates of the Caribbean actress penned a critique of her fellow mom, who gave birth to Princess Charlotte one day after Knightley had her own daughter in 2015.

Apparently, Kate did a "disservice" to other women by posing for photos mere hours after having a baby. In her essay, Keira wrote that her body was a "battleground" after birthing a child, and she accused Kate of "hiding" the bloody evidence that she had just given birth.

It honestly sounds like Keira had a really traumatic birth experience, considering she wrote things such as, "My vagina split. I remember the s**t, the vomit, the blood, the stitches. I remember my battleground."

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how poised and gorgeous Kate looks here? Apparently it's nothing Keira Knightley can appreciate, and according to reports, Kate's pretty upset that the actress thought it was OK to invalidate her own lovely experience.

A palace insider dished, "Keira is obviously entitled to her own opinion, but it was very much based on her own experiences and not of Kate's. Not every mother feels the same way. Keira's comments were simply for attention and they weren't justified."

The source also pointed out that it was entirely Kate's decision to put herself in the public eye so quickly after giving birth. They explained, "She wouldn't have done the photo call a second and third time if she was uncomfortable."

  • It's not cool to criticize the way another mom does her thing, even if she seems to exhibit superhuman qualities to do it.

Why can't people such as Keira Knightley just appreciate that Kate looked like a freaking goddess after giving birth to her child? The poor woman had horrendous pregnancies -- can't we let her look like a million bucks after bringing life into the world? Let's not forget that she had an entire team of people on hand to do her hair and makeup and probably even sew her into her dress to make sure it fit just right over that recently vacated bump.

  • Kate always keeps it real when it comes to being a mom.

She's never been shy about opening up about the challenges of motherhood with her fans. She even got brutally honest about the loneliness of motherhood in 2017, opening up to a crowd about postpartum depression, "It is lonely at times and you do feel quite isolated, but actually so many other mothers are going through exactly what you are going through." She continued, "It is being brave enough, like you obviously were, to reach out to those around you."

Kate Middleton's reality when it came to birthing her babies was obviously different than Kiera Knightley's experience. Despite what Keira may think -- that doesn't make her wrong. Maybe moms should stick to being supportive of one another, instead of dissing each other because they do things differently. Just a thought.
