Princess Eugenie's Wedding Dress Is Nothing Short of Exquisite

Royal wedding season never ends, ladies and gentlemen! Well, 2018 has definitely been the year for royal milestones, and although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will forever be in our hearts, it's time to make room for another newlywed couple. After nearly seven years of dating, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have finally tied the knot, and unsurprisingly, her dress was absolutely exquisite.

  • Eugenie showed up for her big day at St. George's Chapel in Windsor looking all kinds of elegant, and well ... royal.

She's positively glowing! Eugenie's wedding gown was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, from the British label Peter Pilotto.

According to People, the features of the dress hold special significance for the princess. There is a shamrock to honor her mum, Sarah Ferguson's family; the York rose; an ivy to represent her home with Jack Brooksbank; and a thistle for Scotland, because the couple loves Balmoral.

She also reportedly opted for an open back feature on the gown because Eugenie had scoliosis as a child. She wanted her spinal surgery scar to be visible.

  • And that tiara!

This is reportedly the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara, which belongs to Queen Elizabeth.

  • Rumor had it that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding was going to top Meghan and Harry's, and it looked like a pretty close race.

Naturally, the surrounding area of Windsor started preparing more than a week in advance for the royal wedding, and it's a good thing, too. Plenty of onlookers came to catch a glimpse of the Queen's granddaughter and her (new) hubby on their special day.

  • And of course, the royal gang was all there too.

The royal wedding predecessors, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, even made an appearance, although we're sure Harry wouldn't miss the wedding of his cousin for anything! Of course, this particular photographer clearly didn't have the best spot in the house. Nice lampshade, Har.

  • Kate Middleton turned up looking radiant as ever.

Kate wore Alexander McQueen, naturally, and may we add that this red hue is something we all need to add to our own closets for fall? It's perfect.

  • Mum and sis of the bride, Sarah Ferguson and Beatrice, were beaming with happiness.

Bold colors seem to be the way to go for this little shindig.

  • Even though this royal wedding had its fair share of setbacks, it looks like things went off without a hitch!

Princess Eugenie and Jack apparently had to postpone the date of their wedding to October to accommodate Prince Harry and his new wife, Meghan (which we're sure HRH took very well).

But, folks, these two lovebirds made it to the altar ... and that's all that really matters, right? Cheers to Eugenie and Jack!
