Could Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's child support battle actually be coming to an end? After months of nasty legal back-and-forth, Britney has reportedly agreed to pay Kevin more money for child support each month. So, things between the two exes are finally settling down, but Britney certainly didn't come out the winner.

  • According to The Blast, Britney has agreed to give in to her DJ ex-husband after he asked for an increase in his $20,000 monthly child support.

Britney will provide "thousands more a month in child support" for their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Because the exact number hasn't been disclosed, it's leaving us wondering just how much more Britney agreed to pay Kevin.

  • Kevin's request for more money was supposedly because he wanted to provide the same lifestyle for the boys as when they are with Britney.

And because of Britney's success at her Vegas residency, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin's attorney, thought that the father deserved at least three times more in child support.

  • So ... did Britney really agree to pay her ex $60,000 per month for child support?

As of right now, the exact settlement is staying under wraps, and according to The Blast, "There are several other items in the couple’s new agreement but the deal is confidential."

We know that Kevin initially rejected the extra $10,000 a month deal that Britney's dad had offered, so at best, Brit is going to be shelling out more than $30,000 each month and handing it over to her ex.

  • We may never know exactly how much more Britney is giving to Kevin, but no matter what, she's going to be writing much bigger checks in the future.

So on top of the $110,000 in legal fees that she was ordered to pay, Britney will be handing over a lot more than $20,000 a month to Kevin for child support. But keep in mind -- Kevin has four other children, so this is leaving people wondering if Britney's money isn't just paying for her kids but for his others as well.

    However, we're not too worried.

The star is set to start the next run of her Vegas show, so she's going to be doing just fine, and if this settlement calms the waters between the two exes, then that's all we could really hope for, right? Let's put an end to all of this legal nastiness for good.
