Ben Affleck's Rumored New Girlfriend Quietly Addresses Their Reported Affair
To say it's been an interesting week in Hollywood would be putting things nicely. Aside from the regular drama and head-turning behavior, all eyes have been on Ben Affleck as photographers caught him not once, but twice, with a 22-year-old Playboy playmate. Needless to say, that likely did not sit well with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, as outlets are now reporting Ben and Lindsay are officially over. Welp, that doesn't appear to be the only development as Ben's rumored new girlfriend is speaking out in her own way.
All eyes have been on Shauna Sexton and Ben Affleck ever since photogs spotted the two together.
The maybe couple first turned heads on August 16, when they were spotted leaving a private dinner together. Days later, cameras caught Ben and Shauna hitting up a Jack in the Box together.
And it appears some sleepover action might be going on that could be why Lindsay deleted her Instagram.
Us Weekly reveals Ben and Shauna enjoyed a sleepover at the Justice League star's home hours after they grabbed fast food.
News Lindsay and Ben split quickly came after that likely wasn't a coincidence.
A source told People Ben Affleck was "never fully committed" to Lindsay during their year-long relationship. Another told the publication the pair split due to distance as the Hollywood actor is based in Los Angeles and the SNL producer calls New York City home.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage -- amid reports the celeb dad was cheating with their children's nanny -- officially filing for divorce in 2017. There were also whispers Lindsay and Ben were secretly hooking up during their marriages (Lindsay was with Kevin Miller at the time) with Jen reportedly confronting Lindsay about the affair.
And it now appears Shauna has been quietly sounding off on Instagram with cryptic posts.
The 22-year-old referenced Drake's 2011 song "The Real Her." Its lyrics are quite interesting given this situation.
"People around you should really have nothing to say
Me, I’m just proud of the fact that you’ve done it your way ....They keep telling me don't save you
If I ignore all that advice
Then something isn't right
Then who will I complain to?
But the weekends here started it right
Even if I only get part of it right
Live for today, plan for tomorrow
Party tonight, party tonight
You got your guards up, I do too.
There’s things we might discover
'Cause you got a past and I do too, we're perfect for each other."
Maybe the 2011 song happened to be on the radio?
So time will have to tell.
This is all so crazy (and messy).
