It looks like one of our favorite mother-daughter duos is about to get even closer. According to reports, Meghan Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, is planning a big move across the pond to be neighbors with her daughter.

  • According to the Daily Mail, Doria has been planning to move for a while, and she is finally going to make the transition next month.

An insider told the news site, "[Doria] is getting ready to move to London. I think she will be going as soon as possible. I know that she was eager to live closer to her daughter. She also fell in love with England and told me when she got back that it's somewhere she believes she too could happily live."

A second source also revealed, "Doria and Meghan have always been inseparable. Doria is beside herself with excitement at the thought of moving to London."

  • Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised at all by this move.

Although Doria has roots in Los Angeles, where she raised Meghan on her own after divorcing Thomas Markle, we have no doubt that she'd rather be near her daughter, especially as she starts her own family. Meghan wed Prince Harry in May, and the two have made no secret of their desire to add kids to the mix as soon as possible.

Plus, Doria quit her job at a mental health clinic in Los Angeles just days before the royal wedding. It was reported at the time that she was planning on opening her own practice to work with elderly patients, but we're pretty darn sure her skills are transferrable to the UK. If she even chooses to work, which she certainly doesn't need to do anymore. Honestly, after how hard she worked to support Meghan and raise her right, we bet the new Duchess of Sussex is dying to repay the favor and provide for her mama.

  • And of course, Doria already gets on well with the in-laws.

Although Meghan's dad's side of the family has been nothing but drama since she and Harry went public with their relationship (her father, Thomas Markle, and half-sister, Samantha Markle, in particular can't stop disparaging her in the media), Doria has remained the epitome of class. She even met with Queen Elizabeth for tea ahead of the wedding.

Plus, she was all smiles with Prince Charles and Harry's stepmom, Camilla Parker-Bowles, at the wedding.

  • The palace has yet to comment on the rumored move.

But we're willing to bet that plans are in the works for Doria to relocate to be nearer to her daughter. After all, what mama wouldn't want to be close to her only child as she begins her family life?
