The Kardashians are worth a huge chunk of change -- and then some. Us peasants will never be able to comprehend the Kardashian family's wealth, but we can draw some connections to how they got it. Sure, they started out wealthy, but thanks to momager Kris Jenner, these sisters have soared to the highest ranks of fame imaginable. And how did she do this? Kris thought of every business opportunity possible for these women. Sure, some of the creativity may have come from the sisters themselves, but we all know Kris is the ultimate puppet-master. Because of this, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have dabbled in just about everything.

They don't discriminate when it comes to money-making opportunities! Whether it's makeup, clothing, modeling, or yes, credit cards, these sisters have done it all. And they certainly haven't been afraid of failure.

Some of their ideas were interesting to say the least, but the sisters have definitely thought outside the box. There have been some winners, and there have definitely been some losers. But hey, that's business, baby! You gotta learn to roll with the punches.

So, here are 29 of the craziest ways the Kardashians and Jenners have made their money. Get ready, because some of these ideas were pretty out there.

  • The Jenner Sisters' Topshop Line

In 2016, the Jenner sisters started their collaboration with Topshop and launched a clothing line inspired by the two of them. They later went on to do the same thing but with swimsuits, and the whole thing was fairly successful to say the least. People love having their name on their stuff!

  • The Strange Sears Collection

Called the Kardashian Kollection (get it?), this clothing line was definitely an interesting venture. Backed the Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim, the Sears collection pretty much flopped and gathered some sweatshop controversy along the way. Ouch.

  • Kim's Selfie Book

    Kim Kardashian
    Splash News

Only Kim Kardashian could release a book just filled with selfies of her and actually sell a few copies. Kudos. Selfish was released in 2015 and is labeled as a "coffee table book." Well alrighty then.

  • Kylie & Kendall's Dystopian Novel

Well, looks like Kylie and Kendall did the whole literary thing before their sister Kim made it cool. The two released Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia in 2014, and the novel has 3.1 out of 5 stars on Goodreads. Respectable.

  • Kim & Kris Promote Sketchers Shape-ups

Waaaay back in the day, Kim and her mom Kris collaborated with Sketchers to promote its Shape-ups sneakers. Because who doesn't love getting a work out in while going from photo shoot to photo shoot?

  • Kylie's Fit Tea Endorsement

Now that we are in the age of Instagram influencers, the Kardashian effect has grown exponentially. Kylie uses her social media presence to make a little extra cash and has been promoting Fit Tea for quite some time now.

  • Kim's KKW Beauty Line

Kim launched her KKW beauty line earlier this year, and so far, it's been fairly successful. It's not on Kylie Cosmetics level yet, but hey, she's just starting out.

  • Kim's App

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood debuted in 2014, and was about as successful as you'd imagine an app inspired by a reality TV star to be. It had some hype surrounding it, but then it quickly died off. RIP.

  • Aaaand Kendall & Kylie's App

Because you're not a Kardashian until you create your own phone game. But apparently this app has been fairly successful for the sisters, so there's that.

  • Kim's Fragrance

Kim's KKW Body fragrance stirred up quite the controversy -- as most things surrounding the Kardashians do. She was accused of stealing the bottle design from Jean Paul Gaultier, and well, yeah they looked similar, but we'll leave this one to the experts.

  • Nail Polish

Kylie and Kendall teamed up with OPI and created "Kardashian Kolors." The two reportedly earned $100,000 each for the deal. Not bad.

  • Kylie's Lip Kits

Well, we all know how successful these have been. Kylie launched her Lip Kits two years ago, and the rest is pretty much history.

  • And Later ... Kylie Cosmetics

Kyie's Lip Kits quickly grew into a full-blown makeup line, and the company is now estimated (by Forbes) to be worth $800 million. But this fact has caused a lot of controversy around the 20-year-old millionaire.

  • Waist Trainers

And to cue even more controversy, we've arrived at waist trainers. Almost every Kar-Jenner has endorsed waist trainers on her Instagram account, and people are never happy about it.

  • Kendall & Kylie's Gillette Campaign

    Splash News

In 2012, the Jenner duo teamed up again, this time with Gillette, and created a "Get Ready With Kendall and Kylie" video. Gotta reveal those grooming routines, right ladies?

  • Kimoji

One app was not enough! If you've ever felt the need to download Kim Kardashian-specific emojis to your phone, well you absolutely can. Thanks, Kim, for filling this void.

  • Khloe's Good American Jeans

    Khloe Kardashian
    Splash News

Launched just around two years ago, Khloe's Good American clothing line has done extremely well. She sold $1 million the first day, and that pretty much explains that.

  • Shoedazzle

    Kim Kardashian
    Splash News

Kim founded this subscription-based shoe website in 2009, and surprisingly, it still lives on. Happy shoe shopping!

  • Credit Cards

"The Kardashian Kard." Yup, this was a real thing. It cost from $60 to $100 just to activate and was a prepaid credit card targeted toward teens.

It made no sense. But, alas, the Kardashians will try.

  • Kendall's My Calvin's Campaign

Calvin Klein's "My Calvins" ads are also teetering on the brink of impropriety, but that didn't stop Kendall from staring in her own campaign for the designer. And out of all the "My Calvins" campaigns there have been, hers was probably the most modest.

  • DASH Stores

    Splash News

The Kardashians have decided to close their brick-and-mortar stores, because, well, they are just too busy. We get it. The sisters collaborated on the stores back in 2006, but all good things must come to an end.

  • The Infamous Pepsi Ad

    Kendall Jenner
    Splash News

In 2017, THAT Pepsi ad aired, and choas ensued. Kendall of course apologized for the contents of the ad, but it'll be a hard one to forget.

  • Kylie Hair Kouture

    Splash News

Feel like bankrupting yourself in the name of amazing fake hair? Well, you can with Kylie's line of hair extensions that she launched a few years ago.

  • Kardashian Khaos

    Splash News

Sooo ... this was a Kardashian souvenir shop in the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Yes, a souvenir shop. It opened in 2011 and did not last long. Wonder why?

  • Khloe and Lamar's Unisex Perfume

    Khloe Kardashian
    Splash News

Khloe and Lamar's perfume called Unbreakable (the name is all-too ironic now) launched in 2011 and hasn't really been heard of since. If found, please return to KoKo, although we don't think she'd want it back.

  • Rob Kardashian's ... Socks

    Rob Kardashian Khloe Kardashian
    Splash News

Rob named his line of socks Arthur George Socks, and he even teamed up with sister Kylie Jenner for a specific collection. The sock company has been around since 2012, so good for Rob.

  • 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'

    Kim Kardashian Kris Jenner
    Splash News

You can't make a list of all the Kardashians's money-making schemes without mentioning the show that started it all! Here's to many more seasons.

  • Kendall & Kylie's Vintage T-Shirts

This venture caused a RIOT. The logic behind these T-shirts were to take the faces of iconic and beloved rock stars and rappers and paste Kendall and Kylie's spray-painted faces on top of them. A confusing explanation for an equally as confusing concept.

  • And Finally, the Best Business Venture Yet: Kim's Pop Song

All we have to say is that Kim got ROBBED on the Grammy. Is it wishful thinking to want a Kim K/Taylor Swift duet?
