They're still newlyweds, but Meghan Markle is obviously already a beloved member of the royal family. Meghan and Prince Harry stepped out for their nephew Prince Louis's christening on Monday, July 9, and it's obvious she's in the close inner circle of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

  • First off, the Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely stunning in monochromatic olive.

There's nothing drab about her look here, despite the green color's reputation. Her boatneck dress was by Ralph Lauren (one of her favorite looks and designers), and she paired with with a matching Stephen Jones hat, as well as olive green gloves and a clutch.

  • She was one of the very few people who greeted religious officials with the Cambridges.

Only Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children, Prince Harry and Meghan, and Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, arrived together at the Chapel Royal, St James's Palace on Monday.

We assume that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip would have been with them, had they decided to attend the event.

  • Despite her "commoner" background, Meghan has had no trouble fitting right in with her royal in-laws.

She's been hard at work making appearances since right after her May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle. In fact, Queen Elizabeth seems to have gone out of her way to make her feel like a valued member of the family.

  • She may not have been born into royalty, but she's certainly a member of the group now.

And let's be honest ... seeing her at her new nephew's christening is giving us visions of the future, when she and Prince Harry will be christening their own beautiful babies.
