Now that John-David Duggar has found himself a girlfriend, everyone wants to know when his twin sister Jana Duggar will finally find love. Or at least people are wondering again why the 28-year-old is still single and living at home with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

  • 28 is hardly old to still be single, but in the Duggar world it's ancient -- especially for a woman.

John-David and Jana are the second and third eldest of the Duggar brood, and fans have been wondering for years why neither of them has found love yet. Every time one of their younger siblings enters a courtship, gets engaged, or walks down the aisle, people wonder what's up with the twins.

  • Now that JD is officially courting Abbie Grace Burnett, fans are especially curious about Jana.

John-David announced they were courting this week, telling Us Weekly, "Abbie and I are just so excited, we've known of each other for several years. We fell in love very quickly and it's been a wonderful journey thus far."

  • According to Radar Online, Jana has avoided the altar because she doesn't want to be like her younger sisters.

An insider told the site, "Jana doesn’t want to be like a lot of others that just go out and get married and end up in a relationship that is negative." They added, "She's content with whatever the Lord wants for her."

Well, Derick Dillard did get his family removed from Counting On, and there have been some nasty rumors about Austin Forsyth being controlling, but from what we can tell, Jana's younger married sisters all seem pretty happy with their choices.

  • More than getting married, our secret desire for Jana is that she moves out and sees a bit of the world.

As much fun as it must be to help your mom raise her gaggle of children, do a million chores around the house, and fiddle in the garden, we have to wonder if Jana stays home by choice, or because she feels like she has no other options.

Someone get this lady a contract with TLC (or another network, for that matter) for her own show about making her own way in the world. We'd watch for sure -- even more than if she just got a boyfriend.
